Description Of Services Policy

Purpose and Scope

This Description of Services Policy defines the services offered by Afintrix Advisory Analytics LLC (“Afintrix,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and establishes the parameters under which those services are described, delivered, and governed.
Afintrix is an advisory, analytics, and governance firm providing structured oversight, compliance, and financial analysis support. Services are delivered through documented analytical review, compliance support, governance oversight, and structured evaluation activities.
This policy applies to all services provided by Afintrix unless otherwise limited by a written engagement agreement.

Service Model

Afintrix delivers services through structured methodologies that emphasize:
  • Documentation integrity
  • Analytical validation
  • Oversight and review
  • Compliance alignment
  • Governance support
Analytics is used as a support mechanism to assess information, identify inconsistencies, evaluate risk, and support defensible conclusions. Analytics is not offered as a standalone product, automated system, or technology solution.
Afintrix does not assume management authority, execute transactions, provide custody, or make decisions on behalf of clients.

Core Service Areas

Afintrix provides the following twelve (12) service areas:
  1. Tax Services
    Support related to tax-related data review, documentation analysis, compliance support, preparation and coordination of federal, state, and local filings, and coordination of tax-relevant information within defined engagement scopes.
  2. Accounting and Bookkeeping
    Oversight and analytical review of accounting records, reconciliations, classification accuracy, and documentation to support accuracy, consistency, and record integrity.
  3. Payroll Services
    Review and validation of payroll-related records, calculations, withholding accuracy, reporting coordination, and documentation for compliance alignment.
  4. Regulatory Compliance, Risk, and Advisory Support
    Structured support for regulatory compliance alignment, risk identification and evaluation, internal control review, governance documentation assessment, policy framework review, audit preparation support, regulatory examination coordination, corrective action documentation support, vendor compliance review, fraud risk exposure assessment, and advisory-related evaluations within defined engagement boundaries.
  5. Financial Planning and Performance Reporting
    Analytical review and reporting support related to budgeting, financial performance analysis, trend evaluation, variance analysis, and planning inputs based on available information.
  6. Asset and Depreciation Tracking
    Review and organization of asset records, depreciation schedules, capitalization review, and documentation alignment to support consistency and auditability.
  7. Compliance Education and Training
    Educational support related to compliance awareness, governance practices, documentation standards, regulatory literacy, and internal control strengthening.
  8. Fraud Forensics
    Analytical examination of records and transactions to identify indicators of fraud, misrepresentation, irregular activity, anomaly patterns, and documentation inconsistencies within engagement scope.
  9. Suspicious Activity Monitoring
    Engagement-based structured review of financial activity patterns to identify potentially unusual or elevated risk indicators within reviewed information.
  10. Transaction Analytics
    Analytical review of transaction data to identify patterns, anomalies, inconsistencies, trend deviations, and risk indicators relevant to the engagement scope.
  11. Financial Data Archiving
    Structured organization and preservation of financial records, documentation, and analytical outputs to support long-term documentation integrity and audit readiness.
  12. Business Entity Formation and Setup
    Administrative and coordination support related to business entity establishment, including evaluation of entity structure options, preparation and coordination of formation documentation, federal and state tax identification application coordination, regulatory registration support, governance document template preparation, initial accounting framework setup, chart of accounts development support, tax election documentation coordination, and licensing registration tracking. Clients remain responsible for reviewing, approving, and submitting all filings and for final legal, regulatory, and tax determinations.

Engagement Structure

All services are provided pursuant to written engagement documentation that defines:
  • Scope and limitations of work
  • Roles and responsibilities of Afintrix and the client
  • Nature of analytical or oversight activities
  • Deliverables, timelines, and reporting format
  • Fees and billing terms
  • Confidentiality and data handling requirements
Services are performed strictly within the agreed scope. Any expansion or modification of services requires written agreement.

Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:
  • Providing complete, accurate, and timely information
  • Maintaining responsibility for decisions, actions, and compliance outcomes
  • Implementing recommendations or findings as they deem appropriate
  • Notifying Afintrix of material changes affecting the engagement
Afintrix relies on client-provided information and does not independently verify all data unless expressly agreed.

Limitations of Services

Unless expressly stated in writing, Afintrix services do not include:
  • Legal representation or legal advice
  • Transaction execution or approval authority
  • Custody or handling of funds or assets
  • Continuous monitoring outside defined engagement scope
  • Guarantees of regulatory, audit, or investigative outcomes
Services are analytical and advisory in nature and are subject to inherent limitations based on available information.

Use of Work Product

All work product, analyses, and materials are provided for the purposes defined in the engagement documentation. Use of materials outside the defined scope or for third-party reliance is not permitted unless expressly authorized in writing.

Policy Review

This policy is reviewed periodically and updated as necessary to reflect changes in firm operations, service offerings, or regulatory expectations.
